Favorite Images of 2014

Every year, I post my ten favorite images for the preceding year (you can view my favorite photos of 2013201220112010 and 2009).

As I stated in my previous post, photographically, 2014 was cut short by the deaths of my mother, father, and mother-in-law. So, even though there are fewer images to choose from, here are my favorites from year, in no particular order.

Rolling hills west of Red Bluff in Spring with Mt. Shasta in the background.
Cattle graze in green hills near Newville.

Goodbye to 2014

2014 was an difficult year for me photographically. Though it was a good year business-wise (I had my second best year income-wise since I started my business in 2003), photographically the year was cut short by the loss of both my mother (in April), and my father (in September). In addition, my wife's mother died only 5 weeks after my father passed, in October.

That accounts for the lack of posts for the last 4 months.

Though I miss my mom and dad every day, I'm happy to say goodbye to 2014.

Hopefully, 2015 will be both a happier and more productive year!
