It's been a bit since I've posted. I've been working hard, but this spring has been difficult because my mother became ill and passed away about a month ago. She was 88 and had a wonderful life She was alert and surrounded by family in her last days, and I know she was happy.

However, spring waits for no man, and I was able to get out and grab a few images of spring in the foothills west of the Sacramento Valley before the heat came on and dried everything out.
